A "trois couleur" 18 carat gold novelty pencil set with cabochon cut turquoises and a citrine thistle decoration, London, 1824 of the finest quality. Jewelled objects of use such as this were frequently made for Royalty. Similar examples exist in the Royal Collection. Superb clear marks and signature of the jeweller.
