An 18 carat gold necklace consisting of 14 elements cast and chased with of fern leaves. The larger elements are each different, the smaller elements are alike and each set with a brilliant cut diamond set in platinum. Signed: Arnould for Edouard Aimé Arnould, Paris, circa 1890.
Arnould rarely used diamonds in his designs. Each element is very elegantly and chased in detail on both front and back.
