Vietnamese and Paris-raised goldsmith, Jean Dinh Van, developed his own distinctive style when he was working for Cartier in the 1950s and 60s. Dinh Van used bold geometric shapes and and pure forms. In 1976, Dinh Van opened his first shop in Paris, and he was considered as a real innovator.
